This time of year we recognize how divided we are politically, racially, nationally and so forth. The book of Isaiah reveals that it will not always be this way. Isaiah points to a future king who will bring about a kingdom of peace. Christmas is the inaguration of this king who would come. He makes a way for us to be at peace with God and one another.
