The book of proverbs points the ultimate goal of parenting to that of raising children who become wise. The challenge is that the book of proverbs tells us that children have "folly bound up in them." How do we faithfully raise children bound up in folly to embrace wisdom? That is what the book of Proverbs illuminates.
