The Story Begins: 1/8/12

We are excited to announce that Redeemer City Church officially begins on January 8, 2012! After months of prayer and planning, we are ready to open the doors and gather together as a church.
Sundays Are a Big Deal
While a church is more than just Sunday gatherings - Sundays are important. Sunday is the first day of the week. It is the day Jesus rose from death, triumphing over our sin, our enemy Satan and declared himself to be the one worthy of our worship. Because of what Jesus has done, we gather together as his church, on the first day of the week to proclaim this good news, worship God in song and remember what he has done through communion.
Planting a New Church is a Celebration
As we begin this new church, we invite you to join with us in celebration in what Jesus is doing in San Francisco. We believe that Jesus is the Chief Shepherd of his church and we respond to his lead. He is the one who makes all things new, restores that which is broken, brings life to that which is dead, and gives grace to undeserving. That is good news!
So make plans to join us on January 8th at 5:30 pm. You can read more about our Sunday gatherings here.
