Brett is a native Californian. Born in southern California and moving to the foothills of the Sierra Nevada when he was 3 years old, it was here that he would eventually meet Jesus, fall in love with Annie, get married, and begin to raise their 3 children, Jonah, Kylie and Naomi.

Brett was actively involved in Crossroads Church, in Grass Valley, CA, for over a decade, and served as the Pastor of Student Ministries for nearly 7 years. During this time he was given opportunities to preach, develop leaders, lead missions teams to Ghana, West Africa and grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

In 2009 Brett applied with the Acts 29 Church Planting Network and prayerfully began to take steps to move to San Francisco to plant Redeemer City Church. After moving to the city in 2010, Brett & Annie began to develop relationships and open their home to a group of people that would eventually become the core group of Redeemer City Church.

Brett’s passion is to see the gospel take root in the city of San Francisco resulting in lives transformed for Jesus, and churches planted throughout the world.
